Earlier this summer, Rep. Derrick Van Orden voted to cut nearly a trillion dollars from healthcare and food assistance programs, putting working families at risk of losing coverage and making healthcare more expensive for all of us. All to give tax cuts to the billionaires and corporations.
Now he's fundraising in our community for his re-election even as his vote puts tens of thousands of us at risk of losing Medicaid and threatening the future of our rural hospitals.
We refuse to let him ignore the consequences of his actions. So on Saturday, September 6th, we're showing up in hazardous material suits to make it clear: Derrick Van Orden is hazardous to our health and well-being.
