National Voter Registration Day

Is the November 3 election the most important in U.S. history? Many democracy defenders say yes - we have to have historic turnout to stop the fascist coup. And then, we have to be prepared to counter plans to disrupt the January 3, 2027 certification.

Are you registered to vote? Are you sure?

Check your registration at https://myvote.wi.gov then talk to everyone you know or don't know to get them registered before absentee-in-person (AIP) voting begins on October 20. If you live in another community, check out the La Crosse County Clerk's webpage or use the myvote link to learn what's on your ballot, whether you are registered or not, and how you can vote.

Once registered, make your voting plans. If possible, plan to vote before election day. The La Crosse City Clerk will offer AIP voting at City Hall and other locations. Learn more here.  You may also request an absentee ballot which you can return to the City Hall ballot drop box or Clerk's office or your polling place.

Do you have friends in Texas? Let them know they may be on a "suspense list" created in August to question the eligibility of more than 1.1 million voters.
