As a Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, with a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, Professor Docan-Morgan brings a wealth of expertise to her research. Her work focuses on how family and personal identities are formed and negotiated through messages in both adoptive and birth families, offering valuable insights into the complexities of family dynamics.
