As if things weren't bad enough with the house on fire and the sewer backing up into the living room, there's another very important thing to deal with.
The direction of our state Supreme Court will be decided in an April 1 election. It's not just important for children, workers, our environment, schools, departments and agencies, human and civil rights, women's autonomy, and more, but it's also part of the larger Let the Rich Rule game being played by Elon Musk.
Who controls the court, controls the 2026 elections.
This is one reason Musk is dumping big bucks into the race. And it's THE reason we have to be involved. They have the money, we have the people.
Musk's opponent is Judge Susan Crawford. She needs support.

The February 18 primary saw a pitiful 19% of registered voter (14% of eligible voters) turn out in the City of La Crosse. We have to do better on April 1.
*There's a postcard party on Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m. in La Crosse. While this is something you can do from home, writing cards with others will amplify and energized our individual efforts.
