BadgerCare Public Option Action Session

From Citizen Action of Wisconsin Health Care For All Co-op:

There has never been a more important time to organize for affordable healthcare in Wisconsin.

We know the healthcare system in the US has been broken for decades. The recently passed federal HR1 legislation will make healthcare even more expensive and less accessible for thousands of Wisconsinites. While we continue to fight back against these harmful cuts, we also have an opportunity to advance a bold Wisconsin solution.

The BadgerCare Public Option is the most comprehensive healthcare proposal before the Wisconsin Legislature that will expand access to affordable healthcare for working families while moving us one step closer to our North Star—a healthcare system where everyone has access to the care they need.

We're excited to bring together our Statewide Healthcare Action Team, local Co-Op Healthcare Action Teams, new members, and anyone interested in getting involved for an evening of learning, strategy, and organizing. [CP: You do not need to be a member of Citizen Action to attend! (But, this is a fantastic group that amplifies our voices and makes important things happen, so think about it!)]

We'll continue at 7:00 PM with our All Healthcare Team Meetings - for anyone interested in learning about or working on our BadgerCare Public Option Strategic Campaign

✔️Campaign updates and organizing successes from healthcare action teams across Wisconsin

✔️Stories from members who are building support for the BadgerCare Public Option in their communities

✔️A Mass Listening Training to prepare us for conversations with community members throughout the summer as we build relationships, gather stories, and strengthen our movement heading into the election season

✔️Opportunities to get involved with outreach, story collection, legislative advocacy, and coalition-building

Whether you've been organizing with us for years or you're joining for the first time, your voice and your leadership matter. Every conversation, every story, every petition, and every new volunteer helps us build the grassroots power we'll need to win the BadgerCare Public Option and continue moving Wisconsin toward universal healthcare.
