Gather, network, share

All month, help Hope Restores collect toiletries and food for local families and individuals in need. From July 1 through 31, drop off items at Hope Restores (231 Copeland Ave.) or in the donations bins at Dollar Trees, Woodmans, and JavaVino. 

Items most needed include

• Paper towels and toilet paper
• Dipers and wipes
• Period products
• Toiletries
• Body wash and soap
• Hair care products
• Dish soap and laundry soap
• Non-perishable food products

  

 

 

July 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center, join La Crosse Indivisible and other local groups to connect and network. Free and open to all (accessible8 via #6 bus).

July 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. at The Nature Place, Myrick Park, share your concerns and ideas about our environment and your priorities for the coming legislative session at the Wisconsin Conservation Voters listening session. 

We need your voice! Join our Western Wisconsin Listening Session – your feedback will help us determine our top priorities for the next legislative session. Community input is fundamental to our work. We rely on your thoughts and concerns to inform what issues we advocate for in the State Capitol.

We want to know what big picture legislation you are most excited to see passed next year! 

Before or after the event, we hope you explore The Nature Place! There are some cool critters in the Discovery Room where the event is taking place. You can also wander through the beautiful marsh trail nearby.
