Indivisible

As you may know, a group of former Congressional staffers have put together a guide for citizen activists. The Indivisible Guide lets people know how to effectively organize, how Congress works, what's the most effective way to sway your representatives, etc.

There are at least two Indivisible Groups now in La Crosse but we don't have details about them - when they meet, who can join, etc.

One is meeting TONIGHT at Java Vino at 7 p.m.

More details as we get them.

In the meantime, the Indivisible authors have an action page specifically to counter the unconstitutional Muslim ban instituted through an Executive Order by Donald Trump. Read it and use it.

If you know of any other Indivisible groups in the area, please email us so we can make sure people know about them and that they know about each other!

Let's GET ORGANIZED!

Senator Elizabeth Warren was censored and "red carded" this evening by Mitch McConnell and prevented her from debating Jeff Sessions confirmation because she tried to read Coretta Scott King's 1986 letter of non-support for Sessions. Why not have every Democratic Senator attempt to read the letter before the Senate and be censored one after the other? Opportunity to drive home the racist point. thanks, lt
